Long Version Story guide <<<Contains Spoilers>>>-

The Story starts with this guy-

-The hero

The hero of our story (nameless, referred to as 'the hero') was walking through the forest seeking adventure one day, when he by chance met Cherry.

-Cherry

Cherry was a money-grubbing theif who after some persuasion joined hero's quest. After a battle, they found an egg that hatched to reveal the Dragobo.

-Dragobo

The Dragobo, a small dragon, then joined the team. After a narrow escape from an enemy, the adventurers wandered into a town. 
The hero suggested that they use their money to hire a new team member, and headed for an alleyway. Cherry, meanwhile relaxed in a bar and reflected on the hero. She decided then that she really admired the hero. Then the hero returned with Diane.

-Diane

Diane, a harlot, joined the party(much to Cherry's dismay) as they headed south to investigate a mysterious city ruled by monsters.
But on the way, they were interrupted by a battle! During the difficult battle, Diane heals the hero. As she was just about to let on that she has feelings for the hero, one of the soldiers transformed to reveal that he was actually the evil Galgarion!

-Galgarion

Galgarion, an evil badguy who for some reason wanted to posess all of the party's souls, defeated them, and left. After the battle the hero then realized that Galgarion was wearing the same type of collar that the hero was.
In a drawn-out flashback, the hero thought back to a month ago, when he was a soldier of SEVIL, an evil army formed to take over the world:

When the hero became part of SEVIL, the hero's mind was wiped, explaining why he lacks common sense. 
One of his first missions was to ransack a town and find a legendary and mysterious item called the "Pheonix Book".
His orders were to kill everyone in his way, but when he came across a little girl, he just knew he wasn't evil enough. He left the mission to escort the girl to safety, and snuck back to get into the van to return to SEVIL headquarters.
In the van on the way back, he overheard a shadowy figure ranting about how the "Pheonix Book" could be used to create great evil power. Corrupted by his own evil thoughts, the shadowy person stole the book and fled from SEVIL.
Now charged with losing the "Pheonix Book" and failing his mission objective the hero was kicked out of SEVIL. After spending a few weeks living like a bum, the hero bought warrior gear and started out on his quest.

Just as the team is about to enter the city of the south, they're stopped by Howard Wigglebottom.

-Howard Wigglebottom

Howard, a manipulative small, cute creature called a "mubble", tricks the party, steals their money bag, and kidnaps the Dragobo.

Meanwhile in Galgarion's lair, Galgarion spies on the heroes. Soon after his surveillance of the team, he developed a crush on Cherry.
He knows he can never woo her but his lackey, Evil Soldier #347 has an idea.

-Evil Soldier #347

Evil Soldier #347 proposed that Galgarion use magic to transform into a likeable person and join the party. To take credit for the idea, Galgarion fired Evil Soldier #347, much to his dismay. Galgarion then headed for his evil magic lab, and transformed!

At that precise moment, a mysterious rouge named Eikre showed up out of nowhere to aid the heroes in a battle against a monster.

-Eikre

Eikre, apparently after Cherry, joined the quest and they set out for the woods to find their Dragobo.

Meanwhile, Howard Wigglebottom told Dragobo why he needed him- several mubbles from Howard's tribe were kidnapped by humans and sealed in a cave. He needed dragobo's help, and fight against the humans.

Elsewhere, the dejected Evil Soldier #347 sat in a bar, angry at Galgarion. He then met the elven explorer Plum.

-Plum

Plum was, by coincidence, looking for the main adventurers because she had a big secret about the hero that she needed to divulge. Evil Soldier #347 decided he'd join her quest, because he wanted to expose Eikre as Galgarion and spoil his plans.

Suspicion of Eikre grew. He seemed almost.. evil?

The hero, Cherry, Diane and Eikre headed into the woods on a sidequest to kill a monster. Cherry confessed her feelings for the hero, but was cut short by a battle. The two were annihilated.

RESTART FROM SAVE POINT.

Cherry forgot what she had to say to the hero, so all memory of her romantic confession is gone. Oh well!

Meanwhile, Dragobo and Howard looked through a mysterious cave. They found the kidnapped mubbles, and found the leader of the kidnappers and her two cronies. It was then revealed that they weren't human at all!

-Detestai
-Larry
-Earl

Detestai, Earl and Larry are three evil cat creatures with the ability to morph from and to human form. The leader, Detestai is the ex-girlfriend of the main evil guy, Galgarion. Also, Detestai is a split personality. When her glasses are off, she is sweet and nice... but when they are on.. watch out! Dragobo and Howard figured this out and were able to defeat her with ease and get away.

MEANWHILE, In the woods, Diane told Eikre that she's not really a harlot, it's just her class and training. (Her sick adoptive mother needed the money, and she had no choice. But she went off on this adventure instead.)

Diane and Eikre then met hero and Cherry. They fought the monster they were after, and it is revealed(using a staff given to them) that Diane is actually a mage!

During a break at a bar outside of a city, Cherry and hero fight a short battle alongside Adventurers! Karn and Ardam.

The Dragobo parts paths with Howard to join the party. Hero and Diane go off on an airship ride while Cherry decides that she's really in love with the hero.

That evening, Eikre secretly gives a flower he got earlier in the day to Cherry. Since he forgot to leave a note that it was from him, Cherry misconstued it as a gift from hero.

Meanwhile, Detestai and her lackeys stormed Galgarion's base, but instead of finding Galgarion, found lots of concrete evidence that Galgarion probably used his transforming powers to somehow join the main party.

Everyone of the main characters (minus Howard) then arrived at the beach. I na wacky coincidence they all ended up finalists in a swimsuit contest. Cherry wins the contest. 

Plum, recognizing Cherry's name, unveils that Cherry is an elf! 

Then a big sea monster attacks!

Plum, who is now apparently after Cherry as well as the hero, bargains to save them in exchange for them as prisoners.

Plum unlocks Cherry's hidden powers with an item called the "Spirit Bead". Cherry is revealed as a summoner!

Eikre is confronted with accusations of being Galgarion! But the true Galgarion is the flower that he gave to Cherry!

The flower fights the heroes, and (again) leaves them to return to his hideout and plan.
