"...there was an unexpected delay in the shipping of the books to us through UPS (they held the books for over two weeks in Plattsburgh because they were waiting for international documentation[...]).
I just checked with tracking and I see that UPS finally released the books on the 11th. They're scheduled to arrive here on the 18th. As soon as we receive them, we'll send your copy out[...].
If you feel the wait is too long and would like a refund instead, please let me know. Thanks, again."
