And now for some Audio/Visual reccomendations-
You have to check out Bubba Hotep and Lost in Translation. The former had Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis; the latter has Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. In both cases, there was interesting character chemisty and dynamic. Both very solid films. Go see them NOWWWE!
And for Audio, you MUST check out the new OutKast double album. It's REAAALLY tight. OutKast is one of the few bright spots in Hip-hop today, and in this album, they manage to practically subvert the genre. One half, Speakerboxxx, is almost run of the mill as hip-hop goes but still manages to be far above and beyond all of the other weak MTV rap you usually see. However, the other half, The Love Below, is my favorite with it's indie rock, broadway, jazz and funk influences. Even if you hate on hip-hop(which I'm sure many of you do) you might want to at least give it a try.
